ANTI~INFLAMMATORY

Jojoba carrier oil with Clove, Eucalyptus and Bergamot

JOJOBA

Jojoba, Simmondsia chinensis, is a shrub or small tree with multiple stems that grows in dry, arid regions.

It grows between 8 and 19 feet tall, and male and female flowers appear on different plants.

The fruit, or drupe, is a green capsule which encloses up to three seeds, from which the oil is extracted.

The most notable benefits of jojoba oil include its ability to:

  • moisturize the hair
  • prevent hair loss
  • reduce inflammation
  • prevent acne
  • soothe sunburn
  • rejuvenate the skin
  • eliminate dandruff
  • fight free radical damage
  • boost the immune system
  • speed up the healing process

The many health benefits of jojoba oil have made it one of the most versatile natural remedies for skin, hair, and nail health.

Thanks to its gentle action, jojoba oil will be a great fit even for those with sensitive skin prone to allergies, irritation, and dryness.

CLOVE

Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of a tree in the family Myrtaceae, Syzygium aromaticum. This is the same family as Nutmeg, Myristica fragrans.

They are native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia, and are commonly used as a spice.

Cloves health benefits include aiding in digestion, boosting the immune system, and controlling diabetes.

Scientific studies have evaluated its antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties in a variety of models.

Cloves contain the organic compound Eugenol, which supports immune function and fights infections and inflammation.

In also acts as an antioxidant, and a natural germicide due to its antimicrobial properties.

EUCALYPTUS

Over the past few decades, there have been hundreds of studies into the health benefits of eucalyptus essential oil.

Eucalyptus oil has a comprehensive range of medicinal uses from treating colds and coughs to nourishing the hair and skin.

Eucalyptus oil contains α-pinene and 1,8-cineole and acts as an antioxidant, with strong radical scavenging activity.

In recent research, Eucalyptus oil was shown to significantly reduce inflammation and pain.

Eucalyptus oil is a natural cough suppressant that also has been shown to fight bacteria, easing congestion by reducing the negative bacteria and other microbes in the nasal passage.

BERGAMOT

The bergamot is a citrus fruit native to southern Italy.

Production is mostly limited to the Ionian Sea coastal areas of the province of Reggio di Calabria in Italy, to such an extent that it is a symbol of the entire city.

Most of the bergamot comes from a short stretch of land there, where the temperature is favourable.

The word bergamot is etymologically derived from the Italian word bergamotto, ultimately of Turkish origin: bey armudu or bey armut, meaning Mister Pear.

Bergamot essential oil is a very healthy and beneficial oil.

It is widely used as a:

  • deodorant
  • vulnerary
  • vermifuge
  • antibiotic
  • antiseptic
  • antispasmodic
  • sedative

It also acts as an analgesic, antidepressant, disinfectant, febrifuge, cicatrizant, and a digestive substance

Bergamot oil can especially benefit arthritis patients by reducing inflammation and pain.

It also has positive effects on mood and relieves stress.

BACKGROUND

Essential oils have been used for over 6,000 years, with the aim of improving our health and mental health.

The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (UK) defines aromatherapy as:

“the therapeutic application or the medicinal use of aromatic substances (essential oils) for holistic healing.”

HOW TO USE

On Your Feet

Did you know that your feet have some of the largest pores in your body?

With larger pores, your feet can more easily absorb essential oils through the skin and release the benefits of the oils into your bloodstream.

This means that you can experience the effects of essential oils faster.

TIP

Reflexology is a great way to help get the essential oils from your feet and into the body.

Reflexology is the act of applying pressure particularly to the hands, feet, and ears to promote relaxation and stress relief ~ all of your nerve lines end in your feet.

By massaging your feet after applying your roll~on oils, you will be able to experience greater relief, rápido.

OTHER SUGGESTED PRESSURE POINTS

Behind Your Ears

Your skin varies in thickness across your body, and behind the ears is one of the areas where your skin is more permeable or absorbent.

This makes it easier for essential oils to get through the layers of skin and into the skin.

Also, your Mastoid pressure point is located behind the ear, and this will help you experience greater relief from pain and inflammation.

On Your Temples

Your temples, located on the side of the head between the forehead and ear, are areas of the body that most people turn to for headache and migraine relief.

Yet instead of simply gently massaging your temples to dispell your headache, try applying Our essential oil rollon.

Your temples are a pulse point, which means that there are blood vessels (the Temporal artery) close to the skin’s surface.

As a result, essential oils can get into your bloodstream faster, allowing you to experience quicker results.

On Your Wrists

The inner wrist is a very popular location to apply rollon essential oils ~ the wrist is an important pulse point.

Your radial artery runs along the inside of your wrist, which makes it easy for your body to absorb and distribute the benefits of essential oils thru your bloodstream.
